Jorge Mendoza

Jorge C. Mendoza died Sunday October 6, 2019 at Temple Scott and White Hospital surrounded by Family and friends. He passed very peacefully and with no pain or suffering from the surprising diagnose of Anaplastic Thyroid cancer.

He was a very special person to all he knew and giving everyone a place in his heart.

Jorge was born March 21, 1953 to Mr. Pedro and Margarita Mendoza. He is survived by his brothers, Zeferino Mendoza, Julian Mendoza, Gertrudez Mendoza, Graciano Mendoza, Jesus Mendoza and Reynaldo Castillo along with his sisters, Rosa Mendoza and Julia Mendoza.  Jorge was preceded in death by his Father and Mother.

Jorge worked as a construction worker for many years with his brothers and lived in Georgetown, Texas for 30+ years. He retired and lived his days quiet and loved to help out with anything anybody asked of him. The family although was very surprised by the immediate death they all had the opportunity to grant what he asked for to be with him and allow him to say love you and good by! You will be very missed but not once forgotten “Tio Jorge” Descanse en Paz.

Jorge’s family will receive friends from 1:00-2:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 393 North IH 35, Georgetown, TX  78628.  Rosary will be at 2:30 p.m. Services will follow at 3:00 p.m.
