Lacedrick was the beloved son of Ricki Davis and the late Doretha Lucas, who predeceased him. From a young age, he exhibited a remarkable warmth and generosity of spirit that endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a beacon of positivity, always ready with a smile that could light up the darkest room and a heart that embraced everyone he met.
Educated in Hillsboro, Texas, Lacedrick graduated from Hillsboro High School, where he not only excelled academically but also forged lifelong friendships. In February 2009, he married his soulmate, Valerie, with whom he shared over 17 years of love, laughter,and companionship. Together, they built a beautiful family, welcoming three wonderful children: Omarion, Lacedrick, and Chanal. His family was the center of his universe, and he dedicated himself wholly to their happiness and well-being.
Lacedrick's professional life was marked by a steadfast dedication to his role as a TLE technician at Walmart, a position he held with pride for 21 years. His colleagues remember him as a hardworking and reliable presence, always ready to lend a helping hand and share his vast knowledge with others.
Away from work, Lacedrick found joy in the simple pleasures of life. A devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, he relished the opportunity to watch sports and cheer on his favorite team. He cherished his days off, often spending them relaxing on the couch, surrounded by the love of his family. These moments of togetherness were precious to him, and he never missed an opportunity to express his gratitude for the love and joy his family brought him.
Lacedrick is survived by his loving wife, Valerie, and their three children, Omarion, Lacedrick, and Chanal. He also leaves behind his devoted father, Ricki Davis; two caring sisters, Tamika and Shameka; and a supportive brother, Antonio Lucas. His extended family includes numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and a wide circle of friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Lacedrick's legacy is one of kindness, compassion, and unyielding love. He touched the hearts of many with his generous spirit and unwavering support, leaving a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
