Larry Johns

Larry Thomas Johns, (L.J.), 60, of Jarrell passed away Monday, April 18, 2016. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 1pm at the Sonterra Clubhouse on Sonterra Blvd, Jarrell, Texas.

Larry was born December 6, 1955 in Georgetown, Texas to Edmond and Juanita Johns. Larry worked in the cedar breaks and hauled hay in his younger years. At the age of 18 he began driving a truck. He worked for many companies through his life, Capital Aggregates for 21 years and Champion Site Prep 2009 till present.

LJ was preceded in death by his wife Linda Jean; mother Juanita Johns, sisters Wanda Baker and Patsy Johns, sister in law Audrey Johns and son in law Robert Woodbury.

LJ leaves behind to cherish his memory: Son Chris Johns; daughter Heather Woodbury (Brenda Porras); daughter Samantha Mullins (Paul Mullins); son Bradley Johns (Juana Johns), all from Jarrell. Grandchildren; Jeffrey, Sarah, Hunter, Brandon, Michael, Kaley, Logan, Xander, Abigail, Nikki and Crystal.

He is also survived by his father Edmond Johns and sister Sue Cantrell and husband Larry of Briggs; brother Joe Johns and wife Loretta of Bartlett; brother Bert Johns of Lubbock; Roger Johns and wife Tina of Kentucky; brother Daniel Johns, sister Linda Farmer, brother William Johns, sister Jessie Brown and husband David all of Lometa; sister Shirley Brown and husband Henry of Lampasas; brother Leslie Johns and wife Jennifer of Georgetown; and sister Delores Mouser of Temple and numerous nieces and nephews.
