

Lorence “Larry” LaRue Anderson Jr., of Granger, Texas, passed away at home on August 21, 2026, atthe age of 69. He was born September 30, 1956, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Lorence L. Anderson Sr.and Henrietta C. “Henrie” Anderson Hiott.
Larry loved his family and friends, and he adored his wife, Susie. He loved God and his church family at Open Road Biker Church in Georgetown, where Wednesday evening service and steak dinner with the men were the highlight of his week. He loved the open road and riding his motorcycle, and he was a proud supporter of our military. Some of his favorite moments were spent tinkering in the garage and fixing up bikes, or sitting on his front porch with a good cigar, enjoying time with his neighbors and friends and talking about life. He was always willing to help others however he could, and he was always the fun uncle to his nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Lorence L. Anderson Sr.; his mother, Henrietta C. “Henrie” Anderson Hiott; and his brothers, Richard L. Anderson and Michael Randolph.
He is survived by his loving wife, Susie; his children, Sandi (Tom) and Travis (Michell); his brothers, Thomas (Laurine) and David (Debbie); his grandchildren, Julia, Kelsey, Cullen, and Hailey; his nieces and nephews, Cherylyn (Daniel), Samantha, Cheyenne, Cherie, Jack, and Alex; along with many friends and his church family.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, what would have been Larry’s 70th birthday, at 7:00 PM at Open Road Biker Church, 8420 N IH 35 Service Rd, Georgetown, Texas. A dinner will follow in the fellowship hall for all to celebrate.
Larry will be remembered for his big heart, his faith, and his love of the open road. His family and friends will forever cherish the time spent with him.
