Linda Sands

Linda and her twin sister, Kathy, were born with cerebral palsy, weighing only a pound and a half each. They were both bedridden most of their lives. Linda graduated from Travis High School and made many friends wherever she went. She loved everything by Olivia Newton-John and was a member of her fan club for many years.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and her special aunt and uncle, Joyce and Wilburn Bloomquist.

She is survived by her brothers, Johnny Sands (Loretta), Bobby Sands (Caroline), Mike Sands (Debbie), and her sister, Connie Hurd. She is also survived by her cousins, Patsy Danek (Jodie) and Mike Bloomquist, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A special thank you to all her caregivers at Park Place for taking such good care of her during the last two years.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
