Mary lived a life centered on love, family, and caring for those around her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the love she shared with those who were fortunate enough to know her.
She credited her faith in Jesus for getting her through her roughest days raising her 5 children as a single parent. Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Grondin, and her oldest daughter, Linda DuPertuis. She is lovingly remembered by her Sister Janice Moreland; and her children Cynthia Harrison, Terry Grondin, Michalle McElhaney, and Robin Beckley; her 14 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren; and her extended family and friends, who will cherish the memories they made with her and the love she gave throughout her life.
Mary had a generous heart, believed in giving back and she never met a stranger. She donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and cared deeply about helping others. She was also a proud member of TOPS for more than 53 years, where she found friendship, encouragement, and community. She had a love for animals, especially her dogs.
