Michael David Kennedy Sr. ( Big Mike )

Michael was born on an army base in Brussels, Belgium on New Year's Day, 1969 to William Kennedy and Clarise Sanchez. He married Priscilla Moreno on December 10, 1994 in Austin, Texas. Michael was employed by Motorola in their MOS-3 division for over 8 years .He also worked at Harris County, Precinct 4 as a Dispatcher, and Travis County Precinct 5 as a Warrant Clerk for several years.  

As we all know, Big Mike was a big guy, with an even bigger personality. He was such a character, always making anybody around him laugh or smile with his sense of humor and lovable presence. He was a natural athlete from a young age, participating in football, softball and golf. Michael, throughout the years, enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews on an individual basis, engaging in all kinds of activities they were interested in. In more recent years he loved spending time with his son, Michael Jr. in which they would enjoy fishing and playing video games together. His son and wife were the light of his life and they meant everything to him. The loss of his presence will be felt forever and we will always keep him in our hearts.

He is survived by his loving wife, Priscilla; his son, Michael David Jr.; his father William (Cheryl) Kennedy; his siblings Arthur C. Scott IV, Katherine (Zeferino) Mendoza, Elizabeth (Panfilo) Perez, Benito Sanchez, and several nieces and nephews. 

Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Clarise (Gertrudis) Mendoza.

Visitation for Michael David Kennedy ( Big Mike ) will be held at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel ( 393 North IH-35 Georgetown Texas 78626 ) on Saturday January 16, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00pm
