

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Olga Vasquez Pacheco Ortiz, who departed this life on August 3, 2026, just days before her 74th birthday.
Born on August 6, 1952, in Georgetown, Texas, Olga lived a life defined by love, compassion, and selfless devotion to her family. A high school graduate and lifelong caregiver, she dedicated herself to caring for others, always putting the needs of those she loved before her own.
Olga was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jesus Ortiz, who passed away on February 17, 2013, and by her parents, Manuela Medrano and Manuel Vasquez.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Andrew Pacheco, Manuel Pacheco Sr., and Grace Reyna; her siblings, Manuel Vasquez Jr., Trino Vasquez, Max Vasquez, Luis Vasquez, David Vasquez, Carlos Vasquez, Gilbert Vasquez, Margaret Ramirez, and Sally Vasquez; her cherished grandchildren, Manuel Pacheco Jr., Jessica Pacheco, Daniella Pacheco, Alyssa Reyna, Adrian Reyna, and Frankie Reyna; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Manuel Pacheco and Mia Gallant.
Olga found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved cooking meals that brought her family together, caring for her plants, listening to music, and creating a warm and welcoming home. She was a natural nurturer whose generosity knew no bounds. Her kindness, strength, and unconditional love touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She had a remarkable gift for making others feel cared for, and her loving spirit left an everlasting impression on all who crossed her path.
Family was the center of Olga’s world. Whether she was preparing a favorite meal, tending to her garden, or simply spending time with those she loved, she made everyone feel welcomed, valued, and deeply loved. Her legacy is one of compassion, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family.
A funeral service celebrating Olga’s life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Gabriel Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas.
