Olin met his future wife, Sue Whitley and they were married on July 18, 1964 in Austin, Texas. Olin loved working with his hands and was excellent with fixing cars. He was the type of person that had the determination to work to discover what was wrong with anything mechanical, he was organized in his work and could take something apart piece by piece and put it back together. Olin attended community college for mechanics and was given the completion by his instructors, who said he knew more than all other students in the class. Olin worked in the construction field for many years as a painter, for 20 years of his career was with Greg Schnurr Painting, Inc., retiring 10 years ago. Olin’s family and friends will certainly miss his wonderful vegetable garden; he had passion for growing and cultivating his veggies every year.
