Patricia Ann Alexander

Patricia “Trish” Ann Alexander, age 77, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away quietly at her home on July 9, 2026, with her loving, faithful husband, Alex, dedicated daughter Beth, and steadfast hospice nurse Tiana by her side.

Trish was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who treasured time spent with family and friends. She and her husband, Alex, shared a love of square dancing, traveling, and gathering with loved ones for family cookouts. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family were evident in everything she did.

Trish was born on April 20, 1949, in Peoria, Illinois, to Alvin and Joan Burns. She graduated from Princeville Community High School in 1967 and later attended Decatur School of Beauty Culture. As the first-place recipient of a scholarship competition, she earned a full scholarship and went on to receive her diploma in Cosmetology.

For many years, Trish balanced her role as a devoted mother with a successful career as a cosmetologist. Later in life, she felt called to serve others through healthcare and attended Temple College, where she earned an Associate Degree as a Certified Surgical Technologist. She worked for many years as a CST in the Austin area before retiring to spend more time with family and enjoy RVing with Alex and their beloved dog.

Trish is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Gaylon “Alex” Alexander; her children, Beth Lee and husband Michael of Georgetown, Texas; Mark Robinson and wife Lea of Carson City, Nevada; Gregory Alexander and wife Jessica of Pflugerville, Texas; and Karen Horowitz and husband Neal of Olympia, Washington.

She was also blessed with eight grandchildren: Hannah Campbell and husband Tanner Rogers, Kaden Lee, Ezekiel Robinson and wife Sarah, Elijah Robinson, Abigail Alexander, Blaine Alexander, Natasha Horowitz, and Allison Horowitz; and two great-grandchildren, Dean Robinson and Aria Robinson and a sister-in-law Debbie Burns of Alamo, Texas.

Trish was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Joan Burns; her sister, Barbara Jones of Frankfort, Kentucky; her brothers, Gary Burns of Alamo, Texas, and Robert Burns and his wife, Flora, of Orovada, Nevada; and her great-niece, Neveah Marquez of Alamo, Texas.

Trish will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. She will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to family and friends, and the compassion she showed to everyone she met. Her legacy of love, kindness, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
