Rebecca King

Rebecca Joyce "Becky"  King age 76 of Leander, TX passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016 in Fort Worth, TX.  She was born in Austin, TX the daughter of J. D. and Delsie Stockton.    She married Donald L (Donnie) King, Sr. on  January 13, 1956 and he preceded her in death in 2002.  She raised her children and then went to work at Fulmore Jr. High School working in the cafeteria for several years.  She then went on to be the Activitity Director at Trinity Lutheran Nursing Home in Round Rock, TX for 30 plus years of which she was loved by both her Fellow co-workers as well as the residents. She cherished her job and put her heart and soul in making sure she was involved to the fullest in her position before her retirement in January of 2012.  She enjoyed spending time with her Children, Grand Children & Great Grand Children.  She also enjoyed traveling, puzzles, playing Bingo, making date loaf & Alan Jackson.  She is survived by 4 children - Donald L. (Lori) King, JR of Illinois, Donna L. (Charles) Bauser of Florence, TX, Dee Loyce (Todd) Silvernail of Fort Worth, TX, and Darrell L. King of Leander, TX.   She is also survived by 11 grandchildren April King, Donnie King, Renee King, Deana Moore, Kenny Moore,  Adam Brewer, Sara Brewer, Danna Naumann, Jeffrey Bauser, Trey Beard & Donette King.   14 Great Grand Children, One brother J. D. Stockton, & several neices and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 brother Ray Stockton, 3 sisters Irene Bell, Delsie Ross & Mary Ann Carnline Hill.  She will be dearly missed by all who's lives she touched.Funeral services will be held 1PM, Thursday, March 17, 2016 at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown with Tom Wicker officiating. Burial will follow at Bagdad Cemetery in Leander.A visitation will be held Wednesday evening, March 16, 2016 from 6 to 8PM at the funeral home.
