Robert Fischer

He served 20 years in the US military, retiring from the US Army September 30, 1977 at the rank of Chief Warrant Officer (CW3). He served two tours in Vietnam and received numerous awards and medals for his service. 

Bob is survived by his wife of 50 years, Josephine Valdez Fischer, of Georgetown; daughters, Anna F. Barrera of Rockdale, Linda Fischer and her husband, Dale Hisey of Rockdale; sons, Frank G. Fischer and his wife, Veronica, of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Vincent E. Fischer and his fiancée, Jackie, of Georgetown; twin brother, Richard G. Fischer and his wife, Margie, of East Mountain, Texas; sisters, Irene White and her husband, Mike, of Spring, Texas, Karla Smith and her husband Richard of Cameron, Texas; brothers-in-law Richard Valdez of Georgetown, and Laco Torres of Georgetown; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Ila Mae (Dolly) Adlong, and her husband, James (Buster) Adlong; his brother, Donald C. Ault, and his wife, Becky G. Ault.
