Rob’s departure has left a massive void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by his generosity and kindness. His journey on this earth was marked by selflessness and compassion. He had a way of always finding the positive in every situation and an intelligence and wit that was uncanny. True happiness was making those he loved and cared for happy. He was a shining light in the lives of all whom had the privilege of knowing him.
He is also survived by his sisters Carrie Jett, Hannah Wolbrueck, brothers, Samuel Thomas, Reb Thomas and Jeb Thomas. Among many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rob was preceded in death by his mother, Carrie Lee Williams Thomas, father, Robert Oliver Thomas, children Ernest Doil and Victoria Lee Thomas and sister Lucy Thomas Payne.
The Graveside service is scheduled for November 14, 2025, beginning at 2:00 pm, held at IOOF Cemetery, Georgetown, TX.
