

Tristen Kristofer Shrum, known affectionately as T-Bubs or Nator, passed away on June 24, 2024, in Austin, Texas, at the age of 22. Born on July 18, 2001, in Houston, Texas, Tristen grew up to be a vibrant and multi-talented individual, deeply loved by all who knew him.
Tristen graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School before pursuing his passion for architecture at the University of Texas San Antonio School of Architecture where he studied in preparation for building a dream family compound, AKA, "The Castle". His creativity was not confined to his studies; he also enjoyed gaming, PC building and coding. He was a Boy Scout, avid outdoorsman, and he enjoyed forging, woodworking, hunting, fishing and hiking.
Known for his kind, generous, and funny personality, Tristen was a source of joy and laughter for his friends and family. He was a loving son, brother, and grandson, always ready to lend a hand or share a moment of creativity.
He is survived by his mother, Heather; father, Kristofer; sister, Bella; grandparents, Michael and Melva Shrum, Rebecca Whitten, and James and Lynn Whitten; aunt, Skye Shrum; and aunt and uncle, Jennifer and Jason Whitten; uncle, Nicholas Croft. Tristen was preceded in death by his uncle, Michael Shrum, Jr.
A memorial service to celebrate Tristen’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on July 1st, 2024, at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel located at 393 North IH-35, Georgetown, TX 78628.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Tristen may be made to Habitat for Humanity. The Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown, Texas, is assisting the family with the arrangements. Tristen’s legacy of love, laughter, and creativity will be cherished and remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
