Zoro Murlin Bonnet

Funeral services for Zoro Murlin Bonnet, 81 of Copperas Cove, will be held 2:00PM, Sunday, November 23, 2014, at Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown with Don McConnaughhay and Greg Hammack officiating. A visitation will be held Saturday, November 22, 2014, from 4 to 6:30PM at Gabriels Funeral Home. Zoro Murlin Bonnet passed away at the age of 81 on Thursday, November 20, 2014, in Gatesville, Texas. He was born at the Sunset Ranch in Travis County, the son of Richard Ray Bonnet and Alpha Mavis (Crumley) Bonnet on August 26, 1933. He married his loving wife, Doris Juanita (Hammack) Bonnet on May 5, 1951. Mr. Bonnet was loving husband, father, grandfather and a lifelong Rancher who also worked for 30 years for BLGY Architects as a Project Inspector. He also loved ranching, hunting, fishing, sports and attended Pidcoke Baptist Church as a man of strong Christian faith. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Doris Juanita Bonnet of Copperas Cove; two sons, Byran Bonnet and wife Beth, Bruce Bonnet and wife Paty; one sister, Alice Alexander and husband Arnold; and one granddaughter, Audrea Bonnet, all of Georgetown; and many loving nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Pidcoke Baptist Church, 11125 FM 116 North, Pidcoke, Texas, 76528.
