Karaoke brings out the best in most people. Our team went to karaoke for some much needed bonding - family included. Alex was hesitant to sing, but with some liquid encouragement, the right song, and serenading from Daisy, we could all see him come out of his shell more.

A core memory indeed. I’m honored to have met him this past year, and witness how he brought out the best in Daisy and those around him.

Alex we miss you so much. The girls and I will forever have you in our hearts. You were one of their most favorite people. Sal will miss his favorite brother in law.

One of the best people I’ve ever known. My brother maybe not by blood, but we would’ve done anything for the other. Life will never feel the same without you. Youll always have the last laugh over me and I’ll always love that fact.

In North Shore Hawaii, only one to catch a fish.

When I met Daisy a couple of years ago we were in the field and she lost her boots. We figured out that she actually lived close to me so Alex brought her other pair of boots to my house so my husband could bring them when he came to the field the next day. The first time we met was when we got back and went out for drinks and the last time I saw him he was hanging out in our office and Daisy told him I had no toe nails. We laughed so much. Gone too soon but I am grateful for how happy he made Daisy.
