When I was 18 and I was finishing the rest of High School through independent studies, Grandma would always drive me to the school office for my weekly check-in and pick me up after. She would always drive me through the burger restaurant nearby and I looked forward to it. When I was being sent home from West Covina High School for doing something that ultimately got me expelled, Grandma picked me up. When Grandma picked me up, she didn't make me feel bad for getting into trouble. Grandma always seemed to only see the good in me. When I was a wee young child and I got sick, unable to go to school after vomiting all over Grandma's dining room table, Grandma let me stay at her house and made me soup. I believe Grandma has been part of the foundation for our family's faith. I love you, Grandma, and I can't wait to see you again.

I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to finally meet Angela a few years ago. I had spent a lifetime hearing stories of her from my dad and grandma, writing letters and catching an occasional phone call when I happened to be at my grandparents' home when she'd call to chat with her big sister. She loved her deeply and the feeling was mutual on the Oklahoma end of the phone.  My grandma had already passed away when I visited CA so it was a nice surprise to see reminders of her in Angela. I'm also proud to say I was able to orchestrate what I believe to have been her very 1st "selfie."  Thank you, Sonja, for that special trip and for sharing your home and mother with me. Thinking of you and your family today.

Angela was a loving person and a very good Christian woman and I know she's with her son and her husband she is truly home and my memories of her that she always tried to help her children all of them to the grandkids she was a special lady and she loved God's creations all over the world she'll be missed by her friends and family until they'll get to see her again when they all go home to be with the Lord and may the Lord bless all of you who are reading this right now 🙏♥️✌️

Hey Mom, 
	I am going to miss stopping by and having a Carl’s Jr hamburger with you or driving to McDonalds and grabbing lunch.  Thanks for all the love you showed me growing up, even when I was a stinker. 
You may not know it, but there are all sorts of times I remember that really mean a lot.  As a kid in grade school, you used to make my lunch.  When you could just slap a sandwich together and call it a lunch, you took the time to draw a cartoon on my lunch bag. 
I vividly remember when I was working in Texas, I got a package from you in the mail.  You sent me a small 12” Christmas tree for the holidays.  The one with the fiberoptic lights that would change color.  You may not know it, but I kept that tree out all year long.  When I would get lonely, I would turn it on, and I knew you and dad were a phone call or a day’s drive away.  
Another memory etched in my mind was us talking on the phone.  While I was looking out my window in Texas and you were looking out your window in West Covina at the same time, at the same moon from a thousand miles apart.   I was under the West Texas sky and you were watching those same light rays bouncing off the moon out in California.  
That prompted me to buy my “man in the moon” winking ornament which I kept on the headboard of my bed.  Even though I had not talked to you that day, I would look at that moon and remember when we were looking at the same place in the sky on those cool windblown nights.  Many times, after a hard day at work, I would be climb into bed and smile from that good-ol “man in the moon” winking at me.  That put a well-deserved smile on my face before I fell asleep. 
There will always be a part of my heart missing until we meet again.                                                                                                                                                       


Angela was a gentle, beautiful soul.  She touched the lives of many.
 May her memory be cherished for all the love she gave. 


When I think of Angela Carter I am immediately filled with warmth and love. Angela is part of my earliest and fondest memories I have as a little girl. The love From her was that of a love of a caring wonderful (practically perfect) grandmother. From teaching me how to make homemade pies in her kitchen to spending the night at her house and playing with her big 🐢. I always felt safe and cared for with her. I still remember the smell of her perfume and makeup as she would hug me all the time and talk in her sweet lil voice. Angela..i thank you for showing me a healthy genuine love. I will forever cherish our memories together. May you rest in peace with your loves Marv & Scott..until we meet again, love you always, Amy Ann Ferguson

I hope you know how very much you were loved. I miss you so much but I know you have been ready to go home for a while. 
You have been such an inspiration to me, life has thrown so many things at you but you always kept your faith and adjusted to what came along. 
I will miss the cards that you would mail every special occasion even though I would see you all the time. 
I will miss being able to call and hear your voice..
I hope you are seeing just how many lives you have touched with your letters, notes, calls and kind words to people. 
This past year has been so hard. and I'm so happy you are free and up in Heaven catching up with Dad, Scott, your parents and so many others.
I thank God that I got to see you one last time and hold your had that day.

Aunt Angie, I will never forget the Christmas, you knowing how much of a fan I was of Jeff Gordon, you sent me some of his collectables. It was such a surprise, and I loved it! I was always so excited to get your Christmas card every year because I knew there’d be a letter in it. I have saved them all! Even though I know how sad everyone is that you aren’t here with us, I am so happy for you! You get to be with your family that was waiting for you in heaven, and more awesome than that, you get to spend Christmas with Jesus on his birthday! I can only imagine what a party that will be! I love you!

Grandma I’m so happy you got to meet Joziah. We will miss you but I know you’re in heaven with my Dad and grandpa. Say hello for me and give them a big hug. 
Me Joziah and Joe love you so much! I know you’ll be watching over us.

Angela was a wonderful friend she  was always thoughtful of others and spoke of them with kindness and sincerity.  She held great intellect and I always enjoyed talking with her.  Angela will truly be missed, I will hold her in my heart now and forever.
