My mother Annabel was the most lovely, generous person I have ever known.  Anyone who knew her loved her, and she was a great mother, friend, grandmother and great-grandmother anyone could ever hope for.  I will miss her every day and look forward to seeing her again and sharing an even deeper relationship with her in Heaven.

My brother Gary and I remember the Schmuch Family from our early teen years when we lived in California.  Annabel was always kind and generous to us and a special lady with a lot of class.  Our parents were friends with Jack & Annabel and I have memories of all the good times we shared together.

I have many special memories of Annabel.  She was a very important part of my childhood.  Following work  together and living in trailers, then moving to Baldwin Park across the street from each other. She and Jack were best friends with my parents Janice and Ed.  The special memories of those that have made an impact on our lives never fade. She was a great lady.  I am blessed to know that she walked with the Lord.
My heart and prayers go out to Nancy, Johnny, Judy and their extended families.  May you find comfort in knowing you will see her again.

I am blessed to have seen God's light shining through my wonderful mother who touched everyone lucky enough to have known her. I will miss her so much, but I am comforted in knowing that I will see her again. Praise God.

When Annabel came to live in Irvine she became a central figure of the Nourse family gatherings. She shared a friendship with all the older generation of our family. One by one they have gone to be with the Lord and now she has left us… She really liked Gary my husband, they were Dodger fans together and she always took an interest in our sons Robert & Brian. What fond memories I have of the times I spent with Annabel…such a special lady who has touched so many lives with her kindness and since of humor. I will miss her but; because of Our Lord Jesus Christ, I can look forward to seeing Annabel again. Praise God!

Proverbs 31:28 says 'Her children rise up and call her blessed."
     We bless her memory and call her blessed because she was such a blessing in our lives. That blessing was one of a loving, kind and gentle mother who loved us selflessly and unconditionally.
     When I was a boy and in need of any comfort I knew where to go. There in my mothers arms, I would receive all the love, wisdom and encouragement she had to give. I can still hear her gentle voice as she would sing to me the words of "Oh Danny Boy" to sooth away the problem, whatever it was.
     She was in fact for us the perfect human example of that selfless, unconditional love that we would one day find in our Lord Jesus Christ. And in some measure that example helped me to recognize that kind of love.
     She was our staunchest defender and advocate. I cannot remember any kind of criticism at all, even though many times I certainly deserved it.
     She was so giving of herself for her children.
     About Christmas time she received the fulfillment, the culmination, if you will, of the greatest gift of all.
 Think of IT
She departed from that frail, worn out, broken human body and in an instant she beheld her Savior, face to face. In that glorious face, in a moments time, she knew more about Him than all the greatest theologians and bible teachers on earth know of Him.  1 John 3:2
     As children of God through Jesus Christ His Son and Our Savior and Lord, we don't lose any loved ones who have believed on Him. We know when they are, and in Gods timing, it will be only a brief separation.
     Then we will be together throughout all eternity. So though we are sad, and rightfully mourn our precious mothers passing- We can rejoice, for we know she has passed into Glory with others who have gone before her.
     I would hope for every child born into this world to have such a mother, and father, as ours were.
     Heavenly Father, Thank you for our mothers life and love. Thank you most of all for her eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
No one on earth loves you like your mother.

I am going to miss our time together so much...I am so grateful for the amazing memories she has given me and my family. My husband always says his favorite part of our visits, was when Grandma and I would sit and talk...because she was the only one in the world that could out talk me! and she was...I love you so much and will miss you deeply..so thankful for your beautiful life and the wonderful children you brought into this world, I could not have asked to be part of a better family then The Schmuch's

She was such a wonderful lady, I have many fond memories of Christmas time spent with the family and the summers that I spent swimming at her house in Baldwin Park. She was always so kind and loving. It was truly a blessing to have known her.
