One of my favorite memories of grandpa was when I would spend the night at his house and I would secretly go into his room and ask him to make me chocolate/ strawberry milk without getting caught by grandma.
Another favorite memory was when I would go to the swamp meet with him, my grandma, my siblings, and my cousins and we could choose any donut we wanted and chocolate milk before the swamp meet.
Grandpa you will forever be missed. Today was a very hard day. It was hard for everyone because you always did good. It doesn’t even seem like reality. I look at you and I feel like your breathing I feel like I see your body moving it just doesn’t seem real.
Thank you grandpa for everything you’ve done for me and my family this couldn't have gotten done without you, I love you.

One thing that I know I will miss about my grandpa is every Sunday morning he will wake me and my cousins up to take us to the swampmeet. We would all be mad because it would be really early but then we would all get happy again when he would take us to the donut shop and he’ll let us get whatever we wanted. Also I’m going to miss seeing him everyday when I come back from school and he’s just getting back from work. I love you grandpa and i miss you we all do.

One of my favorite memory of Antonio Nieto ( el chingon ) my grandpa , is when I got into my first minor car accident on the freeway . My first reaction was to call my grandpa cause he’s always been there with my car troubles . And he literally got there within 10 minutes or less and I felt safe cause he was my hero in that moment. I will also remember working with my grandpa every summer in high school and made me realized that he is the hardest working man I ever met . Which is why my family and I have so much respect for my grandpa (el chingon)
I love you

I will never forget being a kid and how excited me, Robert, and jayleen would get to see our grandpa get back home from work and would hang out with him in the back yard while he watched tv with a Tecate in one hand and sal y limon in the other, or how happy we’d be when we would wake up to fresh donuts on a Sunday morning before the swap meet. I will forever cherish these memories I have of my grandpa.

A favorite memory of mine with my Grandpa is when my cousins, brothers and I were all little we would all wait until he got home from work to jump on the back of the truck and go for a little ride.

Another thing I’m going to miss is hearing his whistle every time he whistles to his birds.

Te quiero mucho Abuelito!

The morning before my grandpa went to see his doctor, i was eating breakfast with him and my grandma. I served myself some eggs and nopales, he looked down at my plate and started laughing, then says “ Mija ever since you were a little girl you always loved eating nopales” and the thought of him knowing and recognizing something that I enjoyed as a little girl warmed my heart, but hearing his laugh was always my favorite.
