Aubrey as always been an inspiration to all that have met her. When she was born on July 26, 2011 she was fighting for her life. No doctors could give us hope for her to live but our faith was so strong we were asking for a miracle. After 3 weeks in the NICU they made us make the hardest decision and pull all medication that was keeping her alive. We put her life in our Lord above and hoped for a miracle. The hospital sent her home on hospice after 2 days with no medication and still living. The expectancy of her living was 1 week at home. Weeks wento by and she looked better then ever. Aubreys hospice nurse said she was full of life, she didn't want to go anywhere. At that point we decided we needed a second opinion and we took her to Children's Hospital Los Angeles. They saved her life. They gave us hope that we were going to have her longer then expected. On January 2012 she underwent her first surgery which was a colostomy placement. That was a bag on her belly where she can go to the bathroom in. That was the first miracle because no other doctor thought she was a candidate for this procedure but Dr. Ford made it happen. She did great, was home in a week. Though it was hard to adjust to at first it became our new normal after a while. Her second surgery was April 2012 which was open heart surgery by Dr. Wong. She had Tetrology of Fallot. Aubrey had a really difficult surgery. She was put on the bypass machine 4 times and she had a long recovery. She was on heart failure for 2 weeks but she fought through it. We prayed for another miracle and our prayers were answered. After a month in the hospital she was finally ready to come home. She was such a strong little warrior and she was our little hero. Her 3rd surgery was February 2013 and that was for her Chiari Malformation by Dr. McComb. That meant her brain was being pulled down by her spinal cord. We almost lost her during that surgery. But another miracle had accused and she made it. The doctor said that she could have brain damage but there was more prayer over her and she came back stronger then ever. She was so smart and nothing had changed. After 3 weeks recovering she was able to come home. Her 4th surgery was to straighten her legs and hips by Dr. Ryan. She was so strong by this time, her stay at the hospital was only 3 days. She was in a body brace for 6 weeks but she was such a trooper, never complained. She loved Snoopy and Charlie Brown. She loved music. Her favorite movies were Home, Hotel Transylvania, Tangled and Despicable Me. We were blessed to be able to celebrate her 4th birthday. She loved to dance and she always had a smile on her face. She loved her family as much as we loved her. Her favorite food were fries and her favorite thing to do is be on mommy's or daddy's phone. She loved YouTube. Even though she didn't live many years she will never be forgotten. She has shown us that miracles do exist. And with faith and hope anything is possible. She was so strong and that taught us to be strong ourselves. Her legacy will live on. Always and forever until we see each other again. Love you baby girl
