Barbara and Bill  attended our three daughters' wedding in San Diego, Los Angeles and Seattle. They also celebrated with us our anniversaries. Barbara  attended the most recent one in 2017. 
Bill was a member of our church's choir.  We have a picture of Barbara in our choir party at our house. 
We also have  a picture of Steve leading a group of church members, including  Barbara to visit a West Covina Historical Site.

After Barbara moved to Upland we still saw each other regularly, and I tried to bring her to church whenever I could.  This photo was taken in May of 2019.  I brought her home for lunch after church.  Our roses were really beautiful that day.  We went outside and I got this photo.  Dementia is really sad, but I am so grateful for those little flashes of her true self that we could see now and then.

A bunch of Dugans and friends at the Getty Villa in Malibu.  It was a sparkling sunny day and includes Kim and Steve's German exchange student on the left.  When Steve was in high school, Bill and Barbara  hosted a German exchange student also, a boy.  They loved sharing America (California!) with those kids.

Barbara was devoted to the children of our church.  She taught Sunday School for many years, as well as Vacation Bible School.  She was also active in United Methodist Women, and was a faithful participant in weekly Bible Study and Lenten Bible Study.  She always helped out whenever volunteers were needed.  This photo shows Barbara with Linda Robinson, helping to sell pumpkins at our Pumpkin Patch.

All the rest of us had to bend over to go through this gate to the Children's Garden.  But not Barbara!

Bill and Barbara celebrated their 25th anniversary at Aunt Grace and Uncle Bill's home over by the beach.  That was a lovely day!

This photo was taken several years ago when the Pangs took a bunch of us for dim sum.
