I have never seen so many people attend a funeral, Amo Basil touched the hearts and souls of many, I only wish we could have given him more joy as he brought to us all. We will miss you Amo. My dad is heart broken and I see it in his eyes, he wishes he would have seen you more, spoken to you more, and so do I. We love you, and we thank you, for always being there for us when we needed a true man of God. It definately doesn't feel the same without you.

We are very sad over the loss of Basil.  He was just a teen-age  kid from the neighborhood, one block away from our house in Amman, when  he gave his heart to Jesus in 1976 and started coming to our neighborhood church. He had a simple and uncomplicated dedication to Christ,  and was loved by everybody.   I gave him a couple of lessons on the accordion and within about 5 months he was better than I. Yes, we discovered a person with a great  musical gift. Basil remained, as you can see from the pictures, a positive, smiling, bright light for Jesus , not only among the young people in our churches in Jordan way  back in the 70's, but  then on in America. It was a great loss for me personally  when the family  emigrated to America.  We grieve with the family.

We trust in God's word and we are sure that Brother Basil was a great man of God. Now we trust he is enjoying his place in heaven with Lord Jesus Christ, we pray for the family and ask God to fill your hearts with His peace and joy, love you all, Amir & Salwa Attalla

Jan Deckert - I'm sorry for your loss and although I do not know your family, I do however work with a family friend of yours and I know he is heartbroken.
