Grandma-
Words will never describe the loss we feel right now, but our memories will keep us going until we meet again. I will cherish every story and memory you ever shared with me. I will remember your laugh and miss your hugs and kisses. I will cherish the last hug I had because I know it was hard for you to get up but you were determined, and you did. I will miss the cute sayings like "Bless your heart" and most all of miss they way you smelled and everything around you smelled. I will think of you every time I see or eat those wafer cookies you always had in the jars in the kitchen. I wont forget the times we played games on the patio or the time we took the bus to the mall. I was so embarrassed to ask you for another quarter because I gave mine to Scotty who lost it. I also wont forget the crazy ordeal it took for you and Grandpa to get us on a plane to meet my parents in Oregon because Stephanie was so afraid. We almost missed that plane. Many memories were spent at Pizza Chalet laughing over Taco pizza. I can only hope and dream to be half the grandma you were and to love as much as you loved us all. I am happy you are finally dancing with Grandpa and reunited after so many years of missing him... I hope I will forever feel your soul around me comforting me in all the things I do..  You truly are an amazing person, Grandma, and we will you see you one day again soon! Xoxo (p.s. I kept every bday card you sent me) going to make a book and cherish them forever because I know each one was sent with so much love, time, and dedication)

Grandma and Grandpa are back in each other’s arms again in heaven!

     I remember the day I met Betty Lightle. It was on her birthday August 19, 2003 at Grazianos. It was an intimidating moment, not meeting her but being there cause I was unsure if I’d be welcomed by others! She made that feeling go away. She welcomed me with a great big hug and instantly she became my grandma! That was the day I officially became part of the Graham/Lightle family. (2 years 4 1/2 months after Lorna and I met and started dating)

     As years went on, Grandma’s and my relationship grew stronger and I would take it upon myself to drop by for visits. I would even call her to chit chat. She always recognized my voice upon saying “ hi grandma Betty.”
 There were times that I would call her when I was feeling down or upset .  I felt that she would be willing to listen. She never let me down, because her listening came with good advice. I didn’t disclose this to Lorna until recently because I didn’t feel I had to. After all, she was my grandma Betty! ❤️
