Catalina Gamboa

Catalina Gamboa of La Verne, California passed away on March 24, 2026. Born on April 30, 1938, at Estacion Progresso Mexico to Parents to Eulalia Gamboa Robles and Hilario Gamboa.

Catalina Gamboa’s passion was her lifelong involvement in the remarkable women’s group, Las Guadalupanas at Holy Name of Mary, where she was an active member for over 45 years.

Where her mother and sister were involved in as well and maintained many strong family – friend relationships. Among her many accomplishments, Catalina took great pride in her career, having worked at Paper Pak, before retiring.

Catalina Gamboa is survived by siblings: Vicente Gamboa, Anita Luna Gamboa, Jesus Gamboa, Luis Gamboa and preceded in death by Maria Gamboa.

Viewing will be held by Oakdale Mortuary & Memorial Park April 27, 2026 at 5pm-8pm. Rosary will be at 6pm.

Funeral service will be held by Holy Name of Mary on April 28, 2026, at 9:45am. Following, you will be escorted to Oakdale Mortuary & Memorial Park for a Committal Service.

Catalina Gamboa de La Verne, California falleció el 24 de marzo de 2026. Nació el 30 de abril de 1938, en la Estación Progreso México, hija de Eulalia Gamboa Robles y Hilario Gamboa.

La pasión de Catalina Gamboa fue su participación de toda la vida en el notable grupo de mujeres, Las Guadalupanas en el Santo Nombre de María, donde fue una miembra activa por más de 45 años, en la cual su madre y hermana también estuvieron involucradas y mantuvieron muchas relaciones familiares y amistosas fuertes.

Entre sus muchos logros, Catalina se enorgulleció mucho de su carrera, habiendo trabajado en Paper Pak, antes de jubilarse.

Catalina Gamboa es sobrevivido por sus hermanos: Vicente Gamboa, Anita Luna Gamboa, Jesús Gamboa, Luis Gamboa y precedido en la muerte por María Gamboa.

El velatorio tendrá lugar en Oakdale Mortuary & Memorial Park el día, 27 de abril de 2026 de 5 p.m. a 8 p.m. Rosario será a las 6 p.m.

El servicio funerario será celebrado por el Holy Name of Mary el 28 de abril de 2026 a las 9:45 a.m. Después, se le acompañará a la funeraria Oakdale Morturary & Memorial Park para un servicio de despedida
