Stopping by to share the tattoo I have in your memory. I miss you sister.

I’ll always think of you when I look at my arm and remember how much I love you.

Rest well my sister. I am missing you so much. You were such a light of fun and a ray of sunshine. You always made us laugh. I pray we made you proud and smile from Heaven.

So sorry to hear about this, she was a really nice and lovable dear friend. RIH Charlene you will be missed. Condolences to the family our prayers are with you.

Not everyone is blessed with a grandmother but I happened to be blessed with three. One of them being Charleen. Thank you. Thank you for loving me, thank you for your light, thank you for your wisdom. I wish I cherished every moment we had just a little more than I did. Until we meet again, I love you and I miss you always. ♥️

Auntie Charleen thank you for always accepting me, loving me and understanding me…I love you more than I showed you over the years…I understand how short life really is at this very moment. All my aunties hold a title and yours was Rich, swaggish and soooo understanding and nonjudgmental….my first auntie that understood my point of view…again and again I love you and I know you’re chilling with granny give her a kiss and hug for me please and I’ll see y’all when my work is done…❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰

I’m thinking of the whole family and missing grandma Charlene today. She was such a wonderful person and the world lost a bit of it’s light when she passed.

Love you all,
Shelly

Giving Thanks to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Here's to my friend, my sister-in-law, affectionately known by me as "Chocolate", I love you dearly. We shared a long friendship together. On Sunday, January 16th, she went home to be with our Savior and on Tuesday, February 8th, we will celebrate her life. I say this because she told me so. Thank you brother-in-law and the kids for being strong.

Love you, Jackie Bush

Aunt Charlene
I remember my mother telling us This is your uncle Ronnie and Aunt Charlene. Plenty of weekends were spent in Pomona. Those were some of the best years of my childhood. You were always caring and loving towards us. I remember you always checking in on us as we played videos games late into the night. Bringing us food snacks and always with that nice big smile. I know as i got older we were not in as much contact, but just know that I still love you and will always remember you for the kind & caring Auntie you were to me and my brother.

Love always and forever

To my sista who is with her heavenly Father.
Jesus is Loved, by the Commodores, is a truly strong song because it helped heal this broken heart. RIH Charlene.

When Great Trees Fall by Maya Angelou -

When great trees fall, rocks on distant hills shudder, lions hunker down in tall grasses, and even elephants lumber after safety.
When great trees fall in forests, small things recoil into silence, their senses eroded beyond fear.
When great souls die, the air around us become slight, rare, sterile. We breathe, briefly. Our eyes, briefly, see with a hurtful clarity. Our memory, suddenly sharpened, examines, gnaws on kind words unsaid, promised walks never taken.
Great souls die and our reality, bound to them, takes leave of us. Our souls, dependent upon their nurture, now shrink, wizened. Our minds, formed and informed by their radiance, fall away. We are not so much maddened as reduced to the unutterable ignorance of dark, cold caves.
And when great souls die, after a period peace blooms, slowly and always irregularly. Spaces fill with a kind of soothing electric vibration. Our senses, restored, never to be the same, whisper to us.
They existed. They existed. We can be. Be and be better. For they existed.

Only God may know why, still I will get by.

I miss my sister. Love her so much we had great fun for over 45 years. Watching our kids grow up and being with our husbands.
This was another fun time together.

One of my favorite moments of my dad and grandma. It was always so easy to capture how unconditional her love is.

My sister in-law, Ronnie,my girlfriend Sharon and I. Celebrated my birthday at Claims Jumpier. We had a blast. Charleen always say, you can take home for later. She will be truly missed

Mom & I relaxing at ChaRon's wedding. It was such a joyous occasion. She laughed partied, cried, & ate the most delicious food.
The best part of this day was she gained the most precious gift in the world.

  💕Her daughter- in-law Wendy💕

Mom enjoyed going to the fair every year. One of her favorite foods was the giant turkey leg. She was excited about the concerts, shopping, and exhibits.

My BBF, sister, and friend is no longer with us, but she will always remain in my heart. We did so much together and helped each other along the way. Always had a word of wisdom when I needed it. I will truly miss Charlene she and Ronnie always was there for my birthday, even if it was at the casino.
Love forever my sister in Christ.

I always looked forward to seeing Charleen and Cold Duck. They were always a pleasure to be around at every occasion we shared.

Charleen was a unique lady. She was honest, a fashionista, and had unconditional love for her family and friends. She was treated like a queen by her husband, because she earned her crown. Her body was tired, and she had to leave it behind. Her spirit will reign over the highest kingdoms to spread her wisdom and kindness to all.

Much love to my sister Charleen and her lovely family.

This photo is the last picture we took at my daughter's bridal shower in 2017. Charleen was the sweetest and most hospitable person I have ever known. Practically every year, she would invite me over for the holidays, to enjoy her home-cooked meals with her family. She loved to cook, and she was the best cook ever--a culinary Maestra! Once, she surprised me with a special meal for my birthday--delicious meatloaf with all the trimmings and sides. I will never forget. I loved her cooking so much that I would jokingly tell her that I was going to steal her from her husband, so that she could only cook for me (smile).

I visualize her Spirit returning to The Heavenly Creator, and that she is making divine meals for all the recipients in heaven. I will miss you, my beloved friend. And, I will always have fond memories of you in my heart. My deepest condolences go out to her husband, children and to the rest of her family.

Cbear you can anywhere anytime. You are everywhere my sista.
