Cheryl Spurr lived "down over the railroad tracks" from me in South Pasadena. We went to Lincoln Elementary School together. She was a darling little blonde haired girl with curls. We played together a lot, she came to my birthday parties, but her family moved out of the area when she was in the 3rd grade. She found me again through the South Pasadena High School alumni website. We went to lunch occasionally when I would drive to Long Beach, then to West Covina. We were planning on having lunch together again, but then I didn't hear from her until one of her friends called me with the news. I will miss Cheryl's laugh, her kindness, and being a good friend even though we didn't see each other much. I know she loved her family, and the Lord. Cheryl, RIP dear, we will see each other in heaven!! Save a place for me Lincoln School Kid!!  Love you!! Mary Batson Holliday
