Arnold passed away peacefully at his home on September 14, 2019, he was 77. Born May 13, 1942 in Azusa, CA to proud parents Mary & Ismael Torres. He resided in Los Angeles County his entire life and made La Verne his home for the last 40 years. He began his service in the United States Army in March 1964. In June 1964 while serving our country he wed his wonderful wife Eleanor. It was in March 1966 that he was honorably discharged from military duty. After returning home from the service he became a precision machinist specializing in tool grinding for over 40 years.
Arnold is survived by immediate family, wife Eleanor and their three children, Lisa R. Torres-McGuire (Timothy) of Riverside, Arnold A. Torres (Noel) of Fontana, David V. Torres (Nadine) of Fontana and 6 grandchildren. Also, surviving siblings Martha Cruz of Baldwin Park, Joseph Torres (Honey) of La Verne, Edward Torres (Anita) of Covina and Rebecca Orosco (Leonard) of Irwindale. Arnold also had siblings who have preceded him in death, Esther Campos and Ismael Torres Jr.
Services will be held at Oakdale Memorial Park in Glendora, CA on Monday, September 30, 2019. Chapel Service to begin at 11:00 AM and Final Resting Service to immediately follow.
