Familia Arriaga y Bojorquez,

Salmo 121:1

You will always be family to me, and a part of me will always be that little girl who was lucky enough to grow up with you.

I love you, always. ❤️

You helped shape the way I saw the world. You taught me about love, acceptance, individuality, and being unapologetically yourself. You are such a key part of who I am today. I am forever grateful to have known you.

I’m so grateful for every memory, every laugh, every silly moment, and every chapter we’ve shared. These pictures may only capture a handful of them, but they represent a lifetime of having you in our lives.

It’s hard to put into words what you mean to me because you’ve been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. To fathom a life without you in it is just unbearable. I’ll always remember you.

David was always there growing up. When I look at these pictures, I don’t just see moments from my childhood. I see someone who was a constant part of it. From my quinceañera, to prom, to doing my makeup for Halloween, family trips, and holidays.

No idea how to start this when in my heart we were all going to grow old. Been postponing because somehow that kept you alive in my mind. But here we are....again....learning life is never what we plan. Now.....I treasure memories like when I had you all filling my heart and we celebrated life but we lost you for a moment 🥹 all the primas looking when you suddenly appeared 💞 we laughed so hard with the stories you had just from those mins. Truly laughed so hard! I've never forgotten the details...now im thankful we all lived that memorable night. We still say one of the best primos moments in our lives 🥺

Seeing your video at our wedding, how much fun you had, such a gift. We loved watching you then....now we keep you tucked away in these 48 secs. Glad we got to share those moments. You made the Martinez smile often just by being you!! Even the way you served yourself and enjoyed a good Plato de Pozole is what Johnny carries in his heart 🥲 You lived everything with passion!

May we all love each other every day with your intensity. Live life joyfully in your honor. Carry your memory in the loud laughs we share, dance moves or food we explore together 💫 With the faith that God has you resting peacefully away from all the hurt this world gives and we will see each other again one day 🙏🏼
Te Amo David 🤍

Sweet cousin love you for always!!!
Yenni, Johnny and Luke

David,
Words truly fall short when I try to say goodbye to you. I’ve known you since you were in your mama’s belly, and it’s hard to believe that you’re no longer here.
You had a light about you that was impossible to miss. Your beautiful smile, your playful spirit, your charisma, and the way you could dance always made you stand out in a crowd.
But what I will remember most is your heart. You had a way of making me feel wanted, loved, and cared for, and that is something I will carry with me always.
You left us far too soon, David. I wish we had more time, more laughs, and more memories to make. But I’m grateful for all the memories we were blessed to have.
I will miss you more than words can say. Thank you for being such a beautiful part of my life and for leaving a piece of your heart with everyone who loved you.
Rest peacefully. Until we meet again. ❤️

Your loud laughter that made any of us laugh with you 🥹

David, thank you for the years we shared and for helping shape who I became. The core memories we created will stay with me forever. Your place in my heart and family’s story can never be erased. Rest peacefully, Aldo 🕊️.

In loving memory of my dear cousin. Your life may have been unexpectedly cut short, but the memories, laughter, and love you shared with our family will remain in our hearts forever.

You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. May you rest peacefully.
With Love always your cousin , Dinora 🙏🤍

My heart hurts knowing you won’t be physically here with us anymore, but your memory will always be present. You’re one of my role models, and I’ll always make sure to carry your strong spirit even through my hardest moments. Love you David 🤍

David was someone I looked up to and still do. He was my older cousin and someone I felt so close to be part of my comfort zone. He was always there for me and knew how to make people feel loved. I’ve had so many great memories with him and wish that he was still here for many more. I remember when I was struggling with my own identity, he supported me and told me to come to him if I ever need help and advice. One of my favorite memory of him was when we were at Knott’s waiting in line for a ride and he kept randomly posing. I asked him why he kept posing and he told me, “because you never know when there’s a camera around” and continued to pose. And later on, once we got off the ride and saw a photo taken of us, he had a cute smile while everyone else looked silly. He had a memorable laugh, was sassy, funny, and took care of everyone around him. He was taken too soon from us and deserved better love. I miss him soo much and still can’t believe he’s actually gone. But he’ll never really be gone since he’ll always stay alive in our memories. And one day I hope to see him and his smile again.

There's not enough words to describe what a wonderful person you were. You had an energy to you that brought so much joy in every space you walked in. I will miss your presence in every family gathering, event and holidays. I wish we could have had so much more time to make more memories but I will cherish the ones we made together growing up. I'm so glad I got to be your cousin. I love you so much and miss you ❤️❤️❤️

David was my youngest brother, but he was so much more than that. He was my best friend. I’m forever grateful for the time we shared and for all the memories we made. We talked all the time. He knew all of me, and I knew all of him. We went to the same schools, shared the same friends, and grew up experiencing so much of life together. There are so many parts of my life that have David woven into them. We could tell how the other was feeling without saying a word. We understood each other, and that was enough. David could make friends with anyone. He had a beautiful energy that drew people toward him. He was kind, confident, and full of life. Depending on when you met him, he might have introduced himself as David, Davito, Aldo, or Rey. That was David. He had so many sides, so many stories, and so many people who loved him. He loved living life passionately. He noticed the little things and had a way of making everyone feel special. David had a huge heart. He was someone who stayed when things got hard. He supported people and made them feel like they weren’t alone. He also lived authentically. His courage to be himself helped me accept myself, and that is something I will carry with me forever. Losing David means losing not only my little brother, but my best friend. I lost the person who knew me in a way very few people ever could. I will miss his voice, his laugh, our conversations, our jokes, and all the ordinary moments I never realized would become the moments I would desperately wish I could have back. But I am grateful for every one of them. David, I hope you knew how deeply you were loved and how much you meant to me, our family, and everyone whose life you touched. You will always be my little brother. You will always be my best friend. No matter how much time passes, there will always be a part of me that is looking for you, thinking of you and carrying you with me. I love you, David. I always will.

To my lovable, courageous, outgoing, down-to-earth friend,

From the moment we first worked together, we clicked instantly. I never knew that one day, this moment of me doing your facial would be the only video I’d have of you. We shared so many good times off camera, and I’ll forever cherish the memories we made.

My heart is deeply saddened by your passing, but I love you, David. I pray and find comfort in knowing that you’re in a better place. 🙏🏾🤍

Love,
Mya

My deepest condolences to the Arriaga family. Having known David and Angie since they were teenagers at the high school for recording arts, they have always been some of my favorite siblings on the planet. The love these two have had for each other through good & tough times will never be lost on me. David’s smile and bright personality were always a Rey of sunshine, and his bravery to always be his true self should be an inspiration to us all. You all are in my family’s thoughts 🙏🏼
Much love and healing wishes,
Luke Patterson “Mr. P”

How do I find the words to say goodbye to you, someone who has been such a big part of my life for so long? You were part of my growth, part of so many of my milestones, and part of so many memories that shaped who I am today. I always imagined you being here for so many more. I never imagined that so soon I would have to say goodbye. I was ready to enjoy our favorite holidays, talk about *Practical Magic*, and celebrate you for your birthday.

David—though to many of us, he was Rey, Davito, Aldo, he was truly a ray of sunshine. He was the life of the party. Someone who loved hard, laughed hard, and truly, truly loved to dance. He didn't mean to be the center of attention; he just naturally was.

He was unapologetically himself. He loved out loud, with no hesitation and no shame. He had a presence that could light up a room just by walking into it.

And somehow, he even made the room smell good.

One of the things I will always treasure most about him are the little pieces of himself that he left behind in all of us. His sayings. His gestures. His expressions. The little things he would do that somehow became his..

Those little pieces of David are now embedded in us. They became part of our families, part of our memories, and part of our stories. And, in a way, part of who we are. And I think that is one of the most beautiful things about the kind of person David was.
I still cant believe im writing this for your memory book, I still cant believe we have to move on without you. I'll miss you everyday, life will never be the same. Rest in paradise 💖

My cousin and I… I don’t even know where to start. 💔
I gotta say, I was blessed with the best cousins, and he was one of them. We have a big family, but some of my first cousins and I have a bond that doesn’t compare. It’s something magical. We come in a pack. 🪄✨️

Of course we had our differences, because we’re human, but somehow we always surpassed them. When one of us was in need, we never hesitated to be there for each other. We understood certain things about each other without always having to explain them.

We both loved fashion. We loved dancing. We went to El Salvador together. We laughed, we talked, we lived.
You weren’t just my cousin. You were my friend...
And now, all I can do is hold onto every beautiful memory we made.
So that’s what I want to remember.
Your laugh.
Your dancing.
Your style.
Our trips.
Our family.
Our crazy moments.
Our beautiful moments.

I will remember you dancing.
Siempre serás mi baile inolvidable. 🕊️
Te amo, primo chulo.
Until we meet again. ❤️

My heart aches because you left us so soon. I will never forgot the moments we spent together. How I would sleep over as kids and we would stay up watching movies and talking silly things. You were always the sweetest, with a smile on your face, and the most loving hugs. I love you with all my heart cuz!

David-
You will truly be missed by all your loved ones.
The short time you were here on this earth does not compare the memories you left behind. Those memories of your smile, laughter, and vibrant personality will always be remembered through our lives and will live on forever. You were more than my cousin you were a little brother. I will cherish your memory until my last breath. I love you! May you be in the glory of the Lord. Rest Easy my love.

David, you will be missed & adored forever. I’ll cherish our Coachella line-up & Scorpio conversations; the Scorpio King. Anyone that passed your path, had the privilege and blessing to have met your infectious soul & smile. From J and A. ♾️

I just saw you. As I looked at you, I was amazed at the confidence you radiated and I laughed to myself bc you saw these crazy kids act like monkeys and got overwhelmed. If you stepped back to look at the scene, you saw so many different people in one space, enjoying one moment, a beautiful little girl's 1st Birthday. We were not perfect, but with each person present, we were perfect for one another. So to fast forward now, looking back to remove a perfect person in that moment of joy, breaks my heart. You will always fit in a place that is unreplaceable, our hearts.

David was a very vibrant and caring person. I will always cherish every gym session, workplace moment, and hang outs. From birthday parties to my baby shower and beyond. Me and my husband Todd loved having him in our lives. Very grateful to have had the privilege of knowing him in this lifetime. Blessings to his family…

I remember one night I was not feeling good about myself and I remember David said to me wonderful words. I will never forget that comborsation . We had many nights out you will forever be miss David. It breaks my heart to hear this news .

I honestly don’t know how to put into words how much it hurts to say goodbye to you. I only got to meet you three times since I married your cousin Danny, but somehow, you became someone who felt familiar to my heart, like I had known you long before those three times. From the moment we met, we just clicked. Your radiant smile, your personality, and the way you carried yourself made you someone I’ll never forget. It’s hard to believe that five years ago, I met you for the first time when you came out here for Sandra’s passing. Then, years later, I got to see you again for Camila’s first birthday. I had no idea that day would become such a precious memory 🩵. We have one picture of you with her from that day, and I know I’ll treasure it forever. One day, she’ll look at it and know that you were there, smiling beside her and celebrating her. I loved seeing you on Instagram, too. Seeing your smile, seeing how beautiful you looked, and getting those little glimpses into your life always made me happy. David, You were only a part of my life for a short time, but the impression you left will stay with me for a lifetime 🩵🪽💙. I’m so grateful our paths crossed, David. Saying goodbye to you feels far too soon, but I hope you knew how loved you were. Rest peacefully. Until we meet again. 🤍

David was always spunky, funny, and full of life from the moment I met him in middle school. We spent so many lunches and afternoons together, always finding ourselves doing the most random things like running through sprinklers at a park on a hot day.
We even ditched class one day, only to get so spooked that we ended up going right back to school lol. He was the kind of friend you could make the funniest, most unforgettable memories with.
David had a way of making you feel like his best friend but if he didn’t like you, you knew that too lol. He was unapologetically himself, and that’s something I’ll always remember about him.
I feel incredibly lucky to have known David and to have shared so many memories with him. It’s heartbreaking to know he’s gone, but I’ll always be grateful for the laughter, the crazy moments, and the memories we made growing up.
Sending all my love, prayers, and deepest condolences to his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. David will be deeply missed and never forgotten. ❤️

David was such a beautiful and confident soul. I met him through my cousin, Alane and Angie, and the four of us quickly became four peas in a pod. Wherever Angie and Alane went, David and I were right behind them. Wherever David went, I went— we were partners in crime around one another. Angie’s brother became my brother.

He guided me in more ways than he probably ever realized. He taught my younger, teenage self to be confident and always lifted my spirits whenever I was down, always forcing me to cheer up and have a good time or to come over. He left such an impact on my heart.

More than anything, I will always remember how deeply and freely he loved just about everyone around him in his way of course. I will forever miss his presence and company more than words can express, and I will forever cherish every memory we shared.

Love you always, boo 🪽
