Donald Casper, age 93, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2026 surrounded by his family and is now safe in the arms of the Lord. Born on September 4, 1933 in San Gabriel, California, he lived a long life marked by devotion, hard work, and quiet strength.
He spent his career as an Electrical Engineer, earning the respect of colleagues and friends through his integrity and dedication. He served as a Radio Intercept Operator in the United States Air Force in Germany during the Korean War. He was a man of strong faith who cherished time with family, drag racing and sports.
He is survived by sons Donald Jr (Saudia) and Thomas (LaVita), daughters Cathy, Susan and Jane (Scott), daughter-in-law Julie, eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of whom will forever carry his wisdom, work ethic and love in their hearts. He was preceded in death by wife MaryBeth, son Michael and daughter Julie.
A private family service will be held at Oakdale Mortuary, with burial to follow at Oakdale Cemetery.
