Elizabeth Mena

She was born on February 1, 1939, in Los Angeles, California to the late Jose D. Martinez and Petra Hernandez. She graduated from Garfield High School. On May 27, 1960, she was united in marriage to Alexander (Alex) P. Mena in Los Angeles, California. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She and Alex raised three girls and one boy; and she was a grandmother to three girls and five boys. She loved NFL – the L.A. Rams, reading books, watching movies, and traveling with her husband.

She worked as a Quality Control Lead at Calmar for over 30 years.

Elizabeth is survived by her three children Joy Mena, Alex J. Mena his wife, Mary; Candace Moreno her husband, Lalo; grandchildren Larissa Morris, Ryan Lyle, Jacob Lyle, Robert Mena, Alex Pelayo, and Aaliyah Rosales; great-granddaughters Kayden Morris and MacKenzie Lyle; and sisters Rachel Gable and Helen Chavez. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Alexander P. Mena; daughter, Elizabeth A. Mena, and grandson Joseph Lyle.
