It has now been 3 years since he passed but it has felt like forever. He was the best papa I could EVER ask for and he completely shaped me as a whole. Growing up I could not have had a better role model and he truly does still inspire me. He made time for our family no matter what and I hold those Friday afternoons close. We would eat lunch, hang out, and read books together. Those are the memories I miss the most. They are everlasting in my heart and I hold them so close. I forever miss him and love him and I am so grateful that God blessed me with such a great Papa. I know he is looking over all of us from heaven and grinning. He is missed and every year that passes pains my heart.

It has been a year and how I miss your smile.  I no longer go to your office for service it is just not the same.  Know that you will always have a special place in my heart.  May your soul have found peace and comfort.

I was a patient of Dr. Glavan for 35 years, until I moved out of California in 2012.
Dr. Glavan was not only my family physician, but I considered him a friend.

He always treated me with the utmost respect and kindness. 
I learned of his passing just recently, and he will definitely be missed.  He was not only a caring doctor, but a wonderful human being.
May he rest in peace....he has definitely earned his place in heaven.

Sorry for this late memory but I just found out about Frank's passing.  He was a really great friend to me and many others growing up in Cleveland.  I knew him from maybe the 1st grade until we graduated from Collinwood HS in 1967.  Frank was brilliant even then and school was so very easy for him.  In HS I only had one class with him, Civics I think and still remember the keen insight he had on a reading assignment that we had.  What a mind and he could have been anything but from an early age wanted to be a Doctor and obviously from the comments was a really good one and very caring,  just as I remember Frank to be back in the day.   What a great friend and neighbor (he lived across the Blvd from me) he was!  RIP Frankie!

My husband and I were so sadden by the news of Dr. Galvan’s passing. He had been our family doctor and friend since 1975.
He was such a kind, caring and truly wonderful doctor and friend.
Dr. Galvan helped us through many trying issues and would always call us at home to check up on both of us. 
I have never met any other doctor who could compare with
Dr. Galvan’s compassion. He always made us feel like his patient, 
his friend and his family. We shared many years of joy and sadness.
He will always be missed but never forgot.

When we got the news that Dr. Glavan had passed we were stunned. He was our family Doctor for over 35 years, & a wonderful man.
He is thought of often, & remembered with love & affection. His smile always made a visit easier & less worrisome.
There are Doctor's then there are great Doctor's he was a great Doctor & can never be replaced. His compassion & caring is something you do not find anymore.
Our deepest condolences to his family, work family (especially Tina) & all that knew & loved him.

I was stunned and greatly saddened to hear of Dr. Glavan's passing, He was my doctor, my husband's and my mom's. He helped me through some difficult times with the passing of my husband in 2014 and my mom's passing this year in July.  He was a Christian and would counsel  you and pray with you.  He is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Dr. Glavan was a really friendly person who was more like family.  I loved him, he would take the time to know you and asked about your family.  

My deepest condolences to his family, and his work family (especially Tina).  My God help you through this season of sorrow.

We just heard of Dr. Glavan's passing, and though deeply saddened to hear the news, we know he is now rejoicing in the presence of our Father in heaven.  Many generations of our family knew him as a compassionate, caring Dr, who was often times a friend as well. The Blackard and Cox families will miss you Dr Glavan. Our heartfelt prayers go out to his beautiful family, and a special prayer for Tina.  With sincere condolences, Scott and Bridget Blackard.

Dr Glavan was my primary care physician since 1981; he was a wonderful man and a terrific doctor. I look back over the years and recognize all the many things he saw me through. I admired him greatly and trusted him totally. I remember the time,,specifically, that we shared that we're both Christian's. Prayers for comfort for his family, friends, colleagues  and other patients. Rest in peace Dr Glavan...you will be missed

Having Dr. Glavan as my doctor for at least 30 yrs was a  great experience. He was the kind of doctor you hear about that were so awesome 
"back in the day". He was ,kind,caring,had a great bedside manner and showed genuine  interest in your life. He took the time to get to know you. I loved looking at the family photos in his office. They added to my overall opinion of him as a special person. His kindness and care of my father by both he and Tina will never be forgotten. He is irreplaceable. I will find another in that office to see but Dr. Glavan will forever hold a place in my heart.

Dr. Glavan has been my doctor since I was 18 or 19.  I loved that man.  He treated his patients with the kind of attention and care that I've never seen in other doctors, which is one of the reasons why I have never switched doctors.  He was also my parent's doctor and always asked about them; after they died, he grieved with me and shared his memories of them.  It was part of the care he gave to his patients.  He was a sweet, dear man, an excellent physician, and utterly irreplaceable.  I feel like I've lost a member of my family again.

To the children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends, and colleagues (especially you, Tina), please know that I grieve with you and feel his loss.

Dr. Glavan has been my doctor for about 20 years.  His kind bedside manor made him different than other doctors I have known.  We would laugh about issues I always enjoyed that he took time to call me at home if I was on new meds or something serious was going on.  I surprised him one day when I brought a friend Ellis Hall the entertainer with me to a doctor's appointment. I did not know he was such a fan! Dr. Glavan was so excited he forgot I was in the office with an ear infection.  Ellis played a song for him since he had his guitar with him  and what a smile Dr. Glavan had on his face. He brought joy to me and I am so glad I was able to bring a smile to him.  My heart aches that he will no longer be here for me to share stories with. We got married around the same time and shared pictures.  He was the best and I will truly miss him. My prayers for his wife and family and grandchildren who he loved dearly. My favorite line to him when he asked " How are you doing" ?  My reply was it sucks getting old" and his reply was " Welcome to my world"  See you in Heaven Dr. Glavan keep an eye out for me. He will be missed on this earth. He has been our families doctor for over 30 and has cared for 4 generations.  He defined the  term family doctor and would spend his whole day talking with you if it helped.

Dr. Glavan was a great doctor, proud father, grand father, husband, and a friend to so many.  Every time I saw him he was kind.  He was Always a professional. He was a “real” doctor who sincerely cared for his patients, was always positive even when he or I did not feel great. and always had a good sense of humor. We had a great conversation last time we spoke, and I will always hold fond memories of him. My blessings to his family.  God Bless Dr. Frank Glavan and his entire family.
