

Georgia "Louise Hicks, 90, passed away May 26, 2012, at Hospice in West Covina with her family by her side. Born in Fort Collins, Colorado, to Bertha Louise and George Davis, Louise moved to California in 1926 and eventually met the man she would spend her life with, Glen Hicks. Married 73 years, the happy couple have three children; Richard (Penny), Glenda(Tom), and Jacqueline (Tonya), nine grandchildren twenty great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
Louise and Glen spent the last 57 years living in the beautiful foothills of Glendora. They spent many years traveling in their RV and enjoying their home in Puertecitos, Mexico. Boating, fishing, collecting shells and taking buggy trips were some of Louise's favorite things to do with family and friends. She was well known for her great cooking and especially her beer battered trigger fish. For years she enjoyed hosting holiday get-togethers for the entire family.
Louise's family fondly remembers her as a fun-loving and witty person that was known for entertaining them with a funny story, song or joke. Her love of family and the love shared between she and Glen served as an inspiration to everyone around them. Theirs has been a true love story.
Louise will forever be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, and a giving grandmother. Her family will cherish the memories that she created through five generations of love, laughter and friendship.
