Gordy and I were good friends for many years, meeting at Christ Lutheran Church and working together on the Board of Trustees. My strongest memories of him are of his character. He had a presence about him, an aura of authority, that caused people to listen and usually heed and follow his advice or instructions. He was very generous with his time in helping others. He was a craftsman in woodworking. He helped repair an antique bookcase for my daughter which nobody else could. Here is a photo of Gordy from 2009 with a similar item he restored. He will be greatly missed but long remembered!

I’m very saddened by the passing of my friend. I know Gordon through the Citrus Dialysis Center as im also a  patient  there with Gordon. He was such a great man and I will miss him very much.
