Heather Anne Dahle

family by her side. She was born January 11, 1959 in Queens, NY to her parents Roy Henry Dietrich and

Rita Hope Harrington Dietrich who preceded her in death. Heather is survived by her husband Curtis Jay

Dahle, brother Roy H. Dietrich, Jr. of Riverside, CA, brother Daniel Kris Dietrich (wife Kelly Cookerly) of

Indianapolis, IN, brother Eric B. Dietrich of Costa Mesa, CA, sister Lydia Irene Dietrich Benefeito

(husband Tony) of Mission Viejo, CA, brothers-in-law Steven Dahle (wife Linda) of San Dimas, CA, Gary

Dahle (wife Judy) of La Verne, CA, and sister-in-law Eileen Waters (husband Dave) of San Clemente, CA.

She is also survived by nieces and nephews Roy Henry Dietrich III and Danielle Dietrich, Kathleen and

Gillian Cookerly-Dietrich, Nathan and Megan Benefeito, Jeff Dahle, Michael Dahle, Jessica Nametz, Ethan

and Kiana Waters.

Heather was a 1977 graduate of John Glenn High School, Elwood, NY and she graduated from the

Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan, NY in 1981 where she earned her degree in Advertising

Design. In 1999, Heather and Curtis Dahle were married at the Waverly Chapel, Santa Ana, CA, and they

made their home in La Verne, CA with their cherished black Labrador retrievers. She worked as a graphic

artist for the Hansen Beverage Company/Monster Energy Company in Corona, CA beginning in 2006.

Heather was always physically active and loved to travel. She enjoyed hiking, cycling, sailing, and was

SCUBA certified. She took many trips with her high school and college friends and often visited her

family in New York and Indianapolis. She especially loved her nieces and nephews and enjoyed attending

their sporting events, or when she couldn’t be there in person, keeping up with the games through the

internet. Heather was passionate about photography, cooking, gardening, and graphic designing. She

enjoyed entertaining and hosted many parties and memorable family holiday dinners at her home. Her

cheerful enthusiasm for life, infectious smile, and special laugh will be dearly missed by everyone who

knew her.

The Visitation-Vigil will be held October 22 nd at the Oakdale Mortuary, 1401 S Grand Ave, Glendora CA

91740 from 6:00pm-9:00pm.

The Funeral Mass will be held October 23 rd at the St Dorothy Catholic Church, 241 S Valley Center Ave,

Glendora, CA 91741 from 11:00am-12:00pm.

A celebration of Heather’s life will be held at the home of Heather and Curtis in, La Verne, CA at 1:00pm

following the funeral mass.
