We are never prepared for the loss of a loved one, but GOD is always prepared to help us through this loss. May his presence begin the healing in your heart and soul, and may his love surround you with the comfort only he can give. Alicia, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this time of healing.

Alicia - you and your family remain in my thoughts and prayers. I know the last year or two have been especially difficult being so far away. This past Christmas must have been very special to both of you and you will treasure those memories forever. You know if there is anything you ever need please let me know.

I know you missed some valuable time with your mom but she has always been in your heart  just as you were in her heart. She will be looking down on you and looking out for you now. Tia Rachel was an inspiration to many. So strong and positive. She and Tio Mac raised a beautiful family and now you Both are reunited at the gates of heaven... You will be missed and loved always. Dear Vibiana and family, Your mother touched my heart dearly.  If I could have had two mothers, I would have chosen her to be Mom #2.  I truly enjoyed the conversations her and I shared about God, the Bible, and other personal things.  She had such an easy way of speaking and her smile will forever be remembered.  I always got a kick out of listening to her and Lola talk whenever the family got together.  We can all learn from her and the patience she extended in many situations.  I will always remember visiting her in February of this year when she was admitted to hospice, again, and how she was so talkative and asking for a burrito!  Helen was the poster child for living life to its fullest and honoring God's wishes EXCEPT when the subject of "going home" to be with Him would come up.  I like to believe that she and God had many an argument about when that would be.  I thank God for extending His grace and allowing her to win a few of those arguments so she could stay here a while longer. But, alas, the time came and our Lord and Savior needed her to come home and she finally agreed.  Helen, you will be missed here on earth but I believe you are in a place where you can see everything, know everything, and have a constant hand in guiding your family in the direction they should go.
