Ilma Yolanda Casasola De Gutierrez

Ilma was born on May 5, 1954, to Basilio and Zoila Casasola. She was born in Morales, Izabal Guatemala and thereafter her family moved to Guatemala City in the 1960's where she met her husband Inocente Gutierrez and had their first son Noe.

in 1974, Ilma and Inocente immigrated to Los Angeles, California and completed their family of five. This is where their second son Hector was born, as well as their youngest and only daughter Neyda.

Ilma gave her heart to the Lord in 1989, and immediately became passionate about living a fierce and devoted life to Jesus Christ. Being called to the ministry with her husband as pastors in 1998, she served Christ every moment of everyday until her last breath and left a legacy to her friends and family that will be cherished beyond measure.

Ilma enjoyed cooking, snacking, music, swimming, baseball (Go Dodgers), and traveling for missionary work. She started her own business in 1998, a Christian bookstore. She loved preaching the Word of God and praying for those in need. Her kindness and generosity helped build several churches around Mexico.

Ilma is survived by her husband, Inocente, 3 children, Noe, Hector, and Neyda, 7 grandchildren, Blanquita, Britzi, Abigail, Osvaldo, Deborah, Aileen, and Abraham, and her great granddaughter, Belensita.

Her grandpups, Bruno, Buster, and Yeli.

A visitation for Ilma will be held Friday, June 9, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Rock of The Nations Church, 13216 Fairford Ave, Norwalk, CA 90650. A graveside service will occur Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Oakdale Mortuary, 1401 South Grand Ave, Glendora, CA 91740.
