My second share to use the photo of Jan and I together last April at Kim's baby shower which was held at Christine's house. I first posted the picture of Kim with Jan and she wanted to use that one.
Jan had a great smile and she was very generous with them. We spent one Easter Sunday with their family at her home in San Dimas when Christine & Jeff's son was still a baby. Another special memory was of Christine's baby shower that Kim planned and helped hostess at a cousin's home. We were blessed to have Jan among us and to be able to call her friend. There are so many wonderful memories with Jan.... baseball games, planning Christines bridal and baby showers together, my wedding and most recently my baby shower that she generously helped to put together. Jan always went above and beyond for those she loved and she will be so dearly missed. I will always think of you Jan when we wrap Grady in his beautiful baby blankets ☺️

Jan and I were friends because of our daughters, Kim and Christine. We also shared being teachers in elementary school in CA for many years. She was such a warm, genuine person and I enjoyed our trips to the county fair in Pomona each year to see how many ribbons her students had earned entering their projects in the art competitions. We got to share each other's big moments for our daughters and she was so supportive and helpful the past two years through Kim's bridal shower, wedding and baby shower! It was the most I had gotten to see her for a few years since we no longer live in CA.
We rekindled our friendship and got to share some special moments. She will be deeply missed by friends as well as family.
