joel was a good father in law and a great mentor to me I had great respect for his braveness and courage In some way's we were a lot a like I didn't think his passing would have such a impact on me being a man you try to hold back tear's but I could not hold them back he will greatly missed by me

Grandpa,i cant believe your really gone. I miss you so much but I know your in a better place now. I'm glad that you finally can rest after suffering so much. We all love and miss you.

Dad,
I will be ever grateful that in your own way you introduced me to our Lord and Savior by giving me my first Bible.  
God first words to me were in Col. 3:1 Your real life is with Christ Jesus.
Now you know how that feels.
I like to remember the happier times when the Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren came into our lives.  You started laughing more and joking around.  
Gods word is true :  Proverbs 17:6  Children's children are the crown of old men.
I will remember always how you laughed when Sophia was a little girl riding on her stick horse around your chair.  She was your favorite little cowgirl.
We will miss you dad especially in the upcoming holiday.
I am thankful that God took you to your new life with Him, where their is no more pain or sorrow.
God blessed my family to allow us to have the privilege of being with you in your last moments on this earth when the angles came to take you home.
Clint, Sophia and I will never forget how at the last minute on this earth you opened your eyes.  I just wonder if you could see us?  Your eyes were bluish grey.  Were you looking at me or were you seeing the Angel?  It was sad but it was also a peaceful moment knowing that God has taken you home and now you are living in the mansion he made for you.

You were my father, my inspiration, my teacher, my baseball coach, my Dad and you became my friend. I remember all the good times we had playing baseball, especially playing catch in the backyard! Then later in life you taught me the true meaning & value of hard work! I love you & miss you very much and look forward to seeing you again, in heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ! Love you Dad!

My Grandpa was a simple man. He loved his family, his dogs, his newspapers, his  baseball and his cigars. I will always think of him when I have fresh squeezed orange juice or hear a Mexican ballad. I will never forget his carefree smile and one of a kind laugh. He was a good man and lived a wonderful life. Grandpa, you will always be in my heart. I love you.

Grandpa, I cherish all of our fond memories. I will never forget them.  I can still hear you singing that song to me when I was a child and it makes me smile.  I loved just simply being with you.  It didn't matter what we were doing, even if we were just sitting together - I think I'll miss those times the most.  You were the best grandfather a girl could ask for.  I'll think of you always and can't wait to see you again someday.  I love you so very much.  I miss you grandpa.

Querido Tio Joel,
Thank you so much for being so good to me and my family and visits to my mother's house,your sister Olivia, who was always so happy whenever you called to check on her. I remember among other things my visits to your home years ago. You were always so generous, and had a great time with you and aunt Maria once in the Coconut Grove to hear one of the tenors singing there that you admired. I did pray a lot when you were so sick and thanks to God and your strong will you overcame the illness. God Bless and give you peace and joy in heaven.
