

Wade proudly served in the United States Army, completing a tour in Vietnam with the Service Battery, 6th Battalion 32nd Field Artillery Regiment while stationed in Bien Hoa. Following his service, he attended Citrus College and went on to build a long and devoted career with the Southern California Gas Company, where he worked for 38 years before retiring.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Lynda Laursen; his son, Erik Laursen and his wife, Anna; his daughter, Lisa Cole and her husband, Dan; and his cherished grandchildren, Vivian and Adam.
Wade found his greatest happiness in time spent with his family. He loved woodworking and fishing, and he especially treasured time at the family cabin in Big Bear, which he built alongside his father, as well as camping and fishing trips to Rock Creek with his wife and children.
He will be remembered for his quiet strength, steady presence, and deep love for his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
