It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jose Carachure, 73, of Pomona, California, on Friday, January 31, 2025.
Born on August 27, 1951, in Guerrero, Mexico, to Margarito and Maria Virginia Carachure. He was a devoted son, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and a true friend. He touched the hearts of many with his kindness, loyalty, and generosity.
Jose married his childhood sweetheart, Oliveria Mendoza, and together they built a loving family. He was a proud father to three daughters and three sons, and the cherished grandfather of eight grandchildren, with one great-grandchild. His family was his greatest joy, and he was the cornerstone that held them together.
From a young age, Jose knew the value of hard work. He selflessly provided for his siblings, his wife, and his children, and always strived to give his family the best. For over 35 years, he worked as a chef, renowned for his dedication, passion, and craftsmanship in the kitchen. His work ethic was unmatched, and he poured his heart and soul into everything he did.
Beyond his work, Jose had an enduring love for soccer. Whether playing, coaching, or simply watching the game, soccer was a constant source of joy in his life.
Jose’s spirit was one of warmth and generosity. He had a beautiful soul and was always ready to help others. His home was a place of love, laughter, and connection, often referred to as the "party house" where family and friends gathered to celebrate life together.
