He left his wife of 56 years and 10 months Gloria Huizar and his 4 daughters, Mary Mota, Patty Sanchez, Gloria Sandra Tinoco and Vero Beltran-Huizar, 11 grand-children and 6 great grandchildren.
Our dad, our hero, Jose Luis Huizar made every person he came in contact with over his 77 years of his life feel so very important. He was a man of few words but the attention he gave to each one of us showed us how important we were to him. He would stop whatever he was doing to listen attentively no matter what he was in the middle of doing. He was a role model to each of his daughters and grandchildren and they have each shared individual stories of how he impacted their lives.
