
Born 6-20-1924 in Lowellville, OH to George and Magdalena "Lena" Hoffman Krall.
She was the youngest of eight children. June worked at Sharon Steel Mill in
Youngstown, OH, while waiting for her fiance, James Winton Hall, to return from
the war. He was a navigator-bombadier in a B-24, shot down and spent 10 months
as a prisoner of war in Germany. They married shortly after his return 6-20-1945.
When he was called to the Korean conflict, she moved with her husband and two
children to Hawaii. In 1954, they moved to Glendora, CA. June and her husband
Jim were founding members of Glenkirk Presbyterian Church. She worked at the
Bank of America in Glendora for over 30 years. June and Jim were involved with
meals on wheels and for many years June counted the church offering to deliver
to the bank. She enjoyed bowling and knitting. June and her husband took many
cruise trips with close friends. She is survived by her daughter Diana Kyle
(husband Larry) of San Dimas, CA, son James Hall (wife Sandy) of Tavares, FL,
three grandchildren Kim Kyle-Dwyer of Redding, CA, Kevin Kyle (wife Kim) of
Azusa, CA, Wendy Pravlik (husband Eddie) of Benson, NC, and great grandson
Johnathan Pravlik of Benson, NC. On Monday March 13, viewing at Glenkirk
Church in Glendora will begin at 10 am, service at 11 am and a luncheon following
the service. A graveside service at 1:30 will be held at Oakdale Cemetery in
Glendora. A donation to Shepherd's Pantry, 657 E. Arrow Highway, Ste. J,
Glendora CA 91740, in lieu of flowers is preferred.
