Happy heavenly birthday mom.  I miss you so much!  I wish we could celebrate together and see one another.  You would be amazed at how tall Luke is now!  I love you and hold the memory of you and all that you have done for me in my life so dearly to my heart.

I love you, mom.  Today is another heavenly birthday for you.  I miss you so much and look forward to seeing you again.  Thank you for all of your blessings to me in life, for being so humble and forgiving, and for loving me so much.

It’s hard to believe it has been three years. It feels like yesterday. I love you mom and miss you.

Dave I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Cathy was a great Soul and so are You my friend and Mentor. I have many fond memories of lessons always the last lesson of the day and Cathy was always so sweet, kind and giving. What a great blessing it was to have her on Earth Dave.

Dave, Todd and Heather - I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Kathy.  I remember her fondly as I visited your house for years in the late 70s-mid 80s for my trumpet lessons.  She always was warm and engaging, even with the nonstop stream of students coming to the house to study with Dave.  My love, thoughts and prayers to the whole family.

Dear Dave, Todd, Heather and all the members of your family,

I was saddened to hear of Kathy’s passing.  I’m so very sorry for your loss.

The last time I saw Kathy she was excited to show me pictures.  She was immensely proud of her family and loved you all so much.

I have fond memories of her hosting the Idyllwild music faculty at the cabin every summer.  She was organized, gracious and seemed to enjoy putting on a spread with flair.  I know what a lot of work and heart went into that dinner each year.

I am sorry that I am unable to attend the memorial service but please know that I am thinking of you.  I hope you will find peace and comfort in being with friends and family as you celebrate Kathy’s life.

I was once Kathy’s BSF leader. She was so devoted to Bible Study Fellowship. She asked if she could sit beside me in the group because she had a hard time hearing. And she found by sitting next to the leader she could see people talking and figure it out easier.  She was such a delight in our group. 
It makes me so happy to know that she is now walking and talking with our lord! Her wait is over. She had so many burdens she carried just in her own body. I think it was her whole left side that didn’t work for her. 
She loved her David and spoke of him often. He truly is her soul mate. She is watching and waiting for him. I can’t imagine her not stopping in now and again to see how her family is doing. 
We have lost a true lover of Jesus Christ! I hope I can live my own life with the dignity she lived with.  And to show the world the Jesus in each one of us!
