I remember how important Lynn's family was to her. Birthdays and family events always took precedence over everything else. With so many in her family, there was always a birthday. I use to tease her about having another party to go to. She would just laugh about it.

Lynn, your creative spirit was inspiring to me and so many others in our class and guild—an amazing spinner, knitter and weaver.  Your laugh and gentle soul made me smile every time we met up.  I will miss you so much!  Rest In Peace. 

My name is Winnie Burks. My son  (Patrick) and I met Lynn at the dojo. She had taught us Goju during class. What I admire her most is when she did her weapons. I would always say to myself that if she can do it I can do it too. I just love watching her move, especially the Sai. I often thought of Sempai Lynn on Thursdays where we taught the special needs students together. She and I love teaching them. That is our joy.

That is such unexpected news and so sad!  I have known Lynn through our interest in weaving and associated activities.  Please know that you and other family are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Lynn was probably the longest serving Recording Secretary of the Bobbinwinders handweaving guild and loved demonstrating spinning at local community events.  She was an accomplished knitter and enjoyed sharing her hand-knitted items with  us. She had a sweet smile and welcoming presence.  We will miss her.

Sempai Lynn was an outstanding teacher to our special needs karate students at the Marquez School of Hope karate studio, she was always very kind and patient in her instruction, everyone loved her! She would always help out at karate tournaments by being one of the judges, she will be greatly missed. Gods blessings to her family, and may our dear Sempai Lynn rest in heavenly peace.

Lynn was certainly a help to me as the incoming secretary of Bobbinwinders last year.  She took minutes at the last couple of meetings while I was attending to my husband's medical challenges.  
She was such a sweet spirit.  I'm sure the family as many memories that are just a shoulder tap away.  God bless you.

Dear Lynn will be missed. Having Lynn as our Bobbinwinder's Secretary was such an enjoyable, long time tradition. Even though she passed that torch to another in the last year, when I think of her I will always see her reading the minutes from the last Bobbinwinder's meeting. Such a dear spirit! I pray that Lynn's family will feel the love and support from God our Heavenly Father in this time of loss and grief.

I always enjoyed visiting with Lynn at weaving class.  She was a wonderful person, so friendly and everyone loved her.  I am so sad to hear of her passing.  Praying for Lynn's family for GOD's comfort and encouragement.

Lynn was and always will be special to my heart because the Nicholson family was like another piece of my heart and soul. Lynn always shared her love with me and others as knowing her was as genuine as having another mother. I do feel a tremendous loss as my brother in spirit named Kedron is without this dear angel now as well as Karston and Ashlyn and I do feel comfort knowing that she is with her beloved husband Gary in Heaven now... May the Good Lord now watch over all the Nicholson family members...
