Manuela Leticia Gonzalez

Manuela Leticia Gonzalez also known as “Tish” was born on June 1st, 1961 in El Paso, Texas to Manuela & Jose Chavez. She later moved to California where she graduated from Huntington Park High School in 1979. Soon after she attended Trade School called the Southland Career Institute in Downey, CA & graduated as a certified Dental Assistant on August 17, 1981. She then met & married Julio Gonzalez where they started a family & had 4 children: Julie, Norah, Korina & Julio Gonzalez III. Leticia “Tish” was heavily involved & well known in the Community, Due to that she started her career in 1992 with L.A.U.S.D working at Gompers Middle School til 2010. Although she had a number of health conditions she was always willing to give a helping hand, open her heart & home to others. She loved animals, going to the casinos, listening to music. Her personality included being a funny jokester, laughing saying her favorite phrase “Like a Sucka” & “Aww dam” she was also family oriented & she was always smiling. Leticia “Tish” was survived by her husband, 4 children & 8 grandchildren: Naeili, Nyla, Samuel Jr, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Kiarah, Antonio, Roger & her 4 siblings Armando, Peter, Gloria & Hector & the entire “110th street Family” Leticia “Tish” will truly & deeply be missed & Forever in our Hearts… We love you “Tish”…

A visitation for Manuela will be held Monday, January 30, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will occur Monday, January 30, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A burial to follow will occur Monday, January 30, 2023 at 12:00 PM.
