My dear friend, Marty.....Oh, how I will miss our phone conversations and your sweet voice as we reminisced about our children, our dear parents and the "good old days" of our youth. You always had positive and encouraging words when I needed them the most and hopefully, I was a good listener for you, as well!  You have always been my loyal and faithful friend  right  from my first day in 7th grade until the sunset days of our lives. We shared the joys and sorrows that came  along  life's path.  I cherish you and your dear family and consider each one of them as a blessing  in my life. I will always remember our last visit, you with that Detwiler twinkle in your eyes and your sweet and innocent smile as you savoured your cup of tea as we giggled and recalled happy days and happy times. My visits to Glendora will always remind me of your kind and gentle friendship. 
As you reunite with your loved ones in heaven, know that you will forever be in my heart and prayers.  
Rest in peace.. no more worries, no more cares,  for you now rest in the gentle and loving  arms of The Lord.

I know you've left your body but I will see you in everything beautiful on this plant earth always.  I am so blessed to have known you in this lifetime.  I enjoyed our conversations, loved that you shared stories of your life with me and I sincerely appreciate that you showed sincere interest in all my children. I fell in love with you instantly because you loved to laugh and we did alot of laughing and for that I am forever grateful.

You have left your body but I your spirit still shines so bright I can see you in the stars at night I feel your warmth in the sunlight.  I had never met anyone that liked to talk as much as I did .  That we did and I fell in love with you instantly.  I am blessed to have known you in this lifetime.  I enjoyed our conversations,. I loved that you shared stories of your life with me.  I appreciated your genuine interest in my children but most of all thank-you for the time we laughed together.  I will forever remember your smile and see you in everything that is beautiful on this amazing planet always and forever.
