With profound love and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved mother Margarita. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister whose greatest joy was caring for those she loved. She left this world surrounded by the family she cherished so dearly.
Her greatest love was her husband, Jaime, of 64 years. Their marriage was a true testament to commitment, loyalty, and enduring love. Together they built a life rooted in faith, sacrifice, and devotion, creating a home where love was constant and family was everything.
She was the proud mother of eight children, the cherished grandmother of seventeen, and the treasured great-grandmother of ten. Her family was her life’s work and her greatest accomplishment. Nothing brought her more joy than seeing her children and grandchildren together, gathered around the table she so lovingly prepared.
She was not a woman of travel or grand adventures. Instead, she found happiness in life’s simplest and most meaningful moments — staying home, cooking meals filled with love, listening to music, and spending time surrounded by her family. Her home was her sanctuary, and it became ours too — a place of warmth, comfort, and belonging.
Raising her children was her proudest achievement. She carried strength and determination in her heart, making sacrifices so her children could have opportunities she may not have had herself. Her resilience and quiet courage shaped generations, and her legacy lives on through each of us.
She taught us the value of family, hard work, faith, and unconditional love. Her presence was steady, her love unwavering, and her example unforgettable.
She is survived by her husband Jaime, her children; Maria, Ernesto, Francisco, Blanca, Zoila, Jimmy, Griselda; along with 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Lorena, her parents Reyes and Genoveva and Sister Yolanda.
Though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the life she lived and the love she gave so freely. We will forever carry her in our hearts, in our traditions, in our kitchens, and in the way we love one another.
She will be deeply missed and eternally remembered.
