Maria Ignacia Lopez (aka Nani or Tia Nachita), was born 4/1/1928 in Pilares de Nacozari in the state of Sonora in Mexico, to parents Antonio Lopez Bracamontes and Manuela Grijalva Cota. She was the first of their 11 children and outlived all her siblings.
She was married to Leopoldo Minori and divorced later in life. She is survived by her adult children Maria Luisa, Dora, and Irasema and predeceased by her children Leopoldo Jr (deceased 1945), Rodolfo (deceased 2004), and George (deceased 2002). She died peacefully of natural causes at home surrounded by loved ones on 1/3/25 in Montebello, CA. She lived a long and full life and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
