Michael Macias

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Macias, who left this world far too soon on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the age of 35. Michael was a beloved son, brother, fiancé, father, and friend who touched the lives of so many.

Michael’s greatest joy in life was being a father. He cherished every moment spent with his children, Giselle and Valerie Macias, and his stepson Carlos Salazar. His love for them knew no bounds, and he took pride in guiding them. He was also a devoted fiancé to Laura Ortiz, with whom he shared dreams of a beautiful future.

Born with a heart full of generosity and a soul that radiated warmth, Michael was a source of strength and laughter for those who knew him. He was the beloved son of Eva Macias and a caring brother to Michelle Mejia and Johnathan Macias. His presence brought comfort and joy to his family, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who loved him.

A visitation in his honor will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2025, from 1:00 P.M to 4:00 P.M. at Oakdale Mortuary in Glendora, CA. A rosary prayer service will take place that afternoon at 2:30 P.M. at the same location.

Michael’s life will be celebrated with a funeral service on Monday, March 24, 2025, at 9:00 A.M., also at Oakdale Mortuary. Following the service, a committal service will take place at Oakdale Memorial Park, where he will be laid to rest.

Though Michael’s time with us was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain in our hearts forever. His legacy lives on through his children, his family, and the countless lives he touched.
