To the Medinas:

I have been fortunate enough to be friends with Nadine for more than a decade, and she has been a source of love, light, and joy in my life through many challenges over the years. Having been so close to her, I know firsthand how important family is to her, and how much her family means to her. It is because of this that I understand the depth of her pain and how immense this loss is for her and her loved ones. I want to extend my support to you all during this difficult period; I am in community with you. May we all honor Nathan and his memory forever.
